Today we remember our fathers, our biological fathers, but also the many men in our lives who have “fathered” us… help us to grow, to learn, to explore, to pray, to play. We often forget the value of fathers. They have a unique role to play in the family and in our lives. In an effort to make life more “inclusive” and “equal” for all (and there is value in that effort) we must avoid the error of thinking that all relationships are the same. Fathers are important.
