Is there a God?

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) has announced it will go ahead with advertising from an Athiest group that…well…denies God.

There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.

In response, the United Church of Canada has come up with an alternative. Well, it’s very much the United Church.

There’s probably a God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.

I’ld like to propose a Franciscan alternative.

Christ is coming. Get busy!

  1. The athiest bus campaign originated here in the UK about three months ago. It was funded by the British Humanist Association and Richard Dawkins (strangely enough it also got a sizeable donation from a Christian group that wanted to promote debate).

According to IMF, the UK economy is going to be the worst affected in the developed world by the current recession. It’ll soon be that atheism will be our biggest export. Oh, I forgot we also have ‘bishop’ Williamson to offer to the world.

  2. So are you guys going to rent space next to the agnostic signs? I like your slogan; but then the Franciscans are a pretty creative lot.
