Vatican rejects Williamson apology

It seems that the Holy See agrees that Richard Williamson’s apology is not convincing. Reports from the Press Secretary seem to indicate that the apology does not meet the demands of the Secretary of State.

Williamson regrets what exactly?

Richard Williamson of the SSPX has issued an apology. Read it for yourself. It leaves me wondering what he regrets; the hurt he caused the Pope, the victims of the Nazis or does he regret his opinions?
Some have made him sound like a sweet old cleric with some strange opinions. I disagree. I believe that [...]

From Hope to Pope

Here’s an interesting image that I found recently. It was part of an article by John Allen that wondered if there was more in common between President Obama and B16 than most think. This is probably true in the area of foreign relations.

Pope: SSPX must accept Vatican Council II

This is the  clear and unequivical statement that should have acccompanied the  lifting of the excommunication of the SSPX in the first place. It would have prevented so much grief  and would have made more clear the Holy Father`s pastoral outreach for the unity of the Church. The text is the translation provided by Zenit.
 VATICAN [...]
